EUPOL COPPS Court Team visited Bethlehem Court

On 28 May 2024, EUPOL COPPS Court Team conducted a court visit to Bethlehem Court and met the President of the court and the head of the court administration. Attended court sessions and had discussions with three other judges. As well the Court Team discussed briefly with court clerks and prosecutors.
The main objective of the visit was to gain an in-depth knowledge of the working conditions in courts of Palestine, exchange experiences with the courts, judges and court staff, learn about the challenges the Bethlehem Court faces, and explore the possible future activities with focus on interconnecting with the Bethlehem Pilot Project.
