Fellowship webinar with international and regional judicial training institutes
As follow up on enhancing the capabilities of the Palestinian Judicial Institute (PJI) on the training delivered through the Diploma Programme, on 30th of January 2023 the Institute organised a fellowship webinar with international and regional judicial training institutes.
During the one day webinar the participants, themselves representatives of judicial training institutes from Palestine, Jordan, Italy, France, Tunisia and the High Judicial Council of Palestine and Attorney General’s Office of Palestine, exchanged views on best practices for the initial training of judges and prosecutors.
The Diploma Programme, entirely organized by the PJI, is a two-year programme of recruitment and training for law graduates that, at the end, will be engaged as first instance judges or prosecutors.
Within the PJI’s endeavour on developing the Diploma Programme the fellowship webinar represents a follow up to the study visit supported and organised by EUPOL COPPS in October 2022 to the Scuola Superiore di Magistratura, the Italian training institute for judges and prosecutors.
