EUPOL COPPS and Palestinian Police launch a joint committee to plan activities
EUPOL COPPS Head of Mission, Nataliya Apostolova and the Chief of Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) Yousif Helo launched the first official meeting of the joint PCP – EUPOL COPPS Steering Committee and signed the Committee Terms of Reference.
The committee consists of three brigadiers from the PCP and three members from EUPOL COPPS. The parties will coordinate and cooperate closely to plan joint activities in different policing areas such as, but not limited to: Community Policing, Strategic Planning and Environmental Crimes. The Committee will also oversee and facilitate the implementation phase.
