EUPOL COPPS Mission delivered on Monday 29 June 2020 electronic thermometers and hand sanitisers to the Attorney General Office (AGO) as a humble contribution to help the AGO and the Public Prosecution (PP) to combat the outbreak of covid-19. The delivery included face masks, electronic thermometers, gloves, hand sanitisers and other items that became badly needed following the rapid widespread of the coronavirus in Palestine. During the handover ceremony, Head of EUPOL COPPS Mission Kauko Aaltomaa said the delivery would enhance the readiness of the Attorney General Office and the Public Prosecution to better serve the public in a safe manner. “The prosecutors and the other AGO and PP staff are exposed to dangers while conducting their work. Therefore, it is very important they take all the precautionary measures to protect themselves and do their job. This protective gear will help a lot to achieve that,” Mr. Aaltomaa said. The Attorney General Mr. Akram Alkhatib praised the support of the Mission and discussed future projects in the new mandate that will start on 01-07 2020. ​
